BIRTH Doula
AS YOUR BIRTH DOULA I WILL PROVIDE PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TO YOU..
..during pregnancy, and childbirth period. I will advocate for your birth plan and support you as it may change through the birthing process.I will offer your my wisdom and empower you as you will be transitioning into a parent. Most importantly I will be present at all times during the time you are giving birth.

A “meet and greet” session to answer your questions and get to know me (complimentary). It could be at your desired location.
45 mins - 1 hour

We will meet in your home to discuss your birth plan, labor comfort measures, and take time to get to know each other so you can feel comfortable and prepared going into your birth. I will include helpful resource packets filled with many handouts and guides for you to keep.
2-4 hours

I will be available to you at 32 weeks to answer any questions and offer resources and referrals as requested. We will set a Check in date where we could communicate via text message or old school phone call to offer support and understanding throughout your pregnancy.

I will go "on call" at 36 weeks until you give birth. I'll be available and ready for whenever you go into labor and request my support.

I will arrive at your home, birthing center, or hospital whenever you request my presence. The "Big Day" will be as such; it will be the day where your baby will be born. Throughout the "Big Day" I will stay with you, I will support you physically and emotionally, I will empower you and I will continue to educate you as you go through labor. Once baby is born I will remain with you until approximately 2 hours after birth or whenever you feel comfortable for me to step out.

Within the first 2 weeks after your birth, we will schedule our Postpartum Visit where I'll meet you at home to discuss your birth experience, provide lactation support, discuss your postpartum plans, and provide resources and referrals as requested.

POSTPARTUM Doula
AS YOUR POSTPARTUM DOULA, I WILL SUPPORT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY…
..during the last few months of your pregnancy and once the baby has been brought home. During the prenatal visits we will discuss your plans/preferences for postpartum, including feeding, sleeping, and postpartum care. I can offer product recommendations to help prepare for postpartum recovery and newborn care. We can work together to finish your registry and organize your nursery/home to prepare for baby’s arrival.
Once the baby is home I will join you at home to support your family as your transition into parenthood. My goal as a postpartum doula is that by the end of our time together you will not need my support any longer. I start out my postpartum support with 10-15 hours in the first week, over 6 days, and as the weeks continue my hours and days will taper off as your need for my support changes.
I’ll hold space and help facilitate healing from any emotional distress surrounding your pregnancy, birth, or postpartum period. I want you to feel supported and loved during the time you need it the most.

Extras
• More postpartum visits can be scheduled for $225 per visit (5 hours)
• Additional 15 hour per week can be added for $675
• Overnight postpartum support can be added in replacement of a day shift to a postpartum package up to 2x per week for an additional $151 per night.

I offer physical, mental, and emotional support while you're adjusting to parenthood. I'm able to promote your healing through nourishing foods, rest, and physical support. You will have a safe space to process your birth experience and the emotions surrounding it.

I'll give live demonstrations on newborn care, such as diapering, bathing, and swaddling, and teach you my best tips and tricks on how to soothe and calm your baby. I'm well-versed in baby-wearing techniques and have experience with dozens of infant carrier brands. I'm able to guide you on how to engage and play with your baby, and I offer extensive knowledge on age-appropriate toys and activities as your baby grows.

As a trained Breastfeeding & Lactation Coach, I can guide and assist you with proper breastfeeding techniques, positioning, and latch. I offer guidance on paced bottle feeding and burping techniques. I have experience with many breast pumps and can help make a pumping plan that works for your family's needs. I'm well-versed in the proper handling and storage of breastmilk and formula.

I have delicious recipes with an emphasis on postpartum healing, including options for dietary restrictions (vegan, GF, etc.). I'll create grocery shopping lists and meal plans for your family. I'm happy to prep freezer meals, cook family meals, and prepare healthy snacks and treats.

I'm an extra set of hands to help get the normal daily home tasks done that you would otherwise do yourself. I can help with light housekeeping, including dishes, baby laundry, and tidying, so you can spend your time resting and healing. I can assist with efficient organization and restocking of feeding and changing stations. I offer sibling care and can assist in their adjustment to the new baby and house dynamic. I've been specially trained in assisting with introducing pets to the new baby and safety measures to ensure a happy household.
PostpartumBelly Binding
AS A BELLY BINDER I WILL INITIATE YOUR POSTPARTUM HEALING JOURNEY
Belly Binding encourages healing from pelvic/pubic separation that occurs during pregnacy; It supports the relaxed and stretched out muscles. It reduces fluid and air retention in bowels and abdominal walls. In addition, it gets rid of the “empty” feeling after birth. Belly Binding a partial bind during pregnancy can be especially beneficial for pelvic support.
It is an Ancient Practice that I have helped to bring it to our Modern Time.
SETTING THE TONE
With Gentle Music in the background, fresh flowers, and baby friendly essential oils, I set the tone for a relaxing and nurturing experience.
I bring A Medicinal Astrigent for a gentle belly massage that is meant to help close the womb, bring your organs and muscles back in alignment to help you recover during postpartum. In addition, I will focus in giving a gentle massage to the round ligaments.

BELLY BINDING
I Complete the session with belly binding and include guidance with a video on how to self bind for the weeks to come. You will continue the ritual at home for the remaining of 40 days. All Clients will receive 3 Binders with 1 oz. Medicinal Astringent.
